Velox LE

Velox LE combines value and convenience with professional-grade reliability in the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz license-exempt frequency bands, delivering the high-performance and superior availability usually found only in licensed radios. It provides support for high-speed data plus E1/T1 TDM voice, with guaranteed full duplex throughput up to 50 Mbps.

With frequency division duplex (FDD) operation, transport bandwidth is guaranteed in both directions over the link to ensure a predictable connection. This compares favorably to time division duplex (TDD) systems that claim high bandwidths, but in practice only deliver best-effort operation and a fraction of the expected throughput.

Operators can choose between two capacity variants:

• Velox LE 10: 9.5 Mbps of 10Base-T data, plus up to 4xDS1/E1 wayside channels
• Velox LE 50: 50 Mbps of 10/100Base-T data, plus up to 16DS1/E1 wayside channels

Velox LE is certified for use in the U.S. and Canada, and has been field-proven in more than 25 countries worldwide.
